RRW
I came up with this week’s challenge:

If you could have lunch with any writer (living) and just chat about stuff, who would you choose and what do you think you would talk about?

NORA, NORA, NORA!!!! She is absolutely amazing. Her work ethic and attitude are so inspirational. I heard her speak at RWA and immediately felt motivated. She makes me feel great about being a writer. She affirmed it is a job, just like any other, so I know I need to work at it eight hours a day. I do not wait for the non-existent muse. And I have told my family that if they need to bother me when my office door is shut, it better be because there is blood. Make that arterial blood. All Nora-isms. And if I could get so much out of one of her talks, imagine the pearls if I could sit down, one-to-one and just chat for an hour or so. Of course, I wouldn’t be able to eat anything, but who cares?

I would love to ask her what she does to clear her mind when she’s stuck on a plot point (is she ever stuck on a plot point?). I want to know when she started writing and why and how she maintains day after day.

I would love to know what she reads and who her favorite authors are. What TV shows intrigue her and what does she do for recreation? So many questions. The topics are endless.

Yep…NORA!!!!! Over 200 books and still going. Wow!

Here are some of my books. I hope to have nine out by the end of the year. I will never make 200, but I will keep trying….

Let’s see who the incredible S.C. Mitchell would choose.  Let’s hop over and see….

  1. I agree, Nora would be awesome to visit with. But I’d worry that I’d simply freeze up and have absolutely nothing to say back!
